Management Consulting
S Systems, Inc. is an established digital signal processing consulting firm specializing in the audio and music industries.
As a sideline, John Strawn (the founder of S Systems, Inc.) is available for assignments besides writing code. For these, I bring to the table several decades of experience in digital audio and music (more details in my on-line resume), including management experience. I have extensive contacts in the field of digital audio and music, and some background in patent work as well.

For a major chip manufacturer, I served as the sole outside member of the due diligence technical team evaluating a small but well-known synthesizer company ultimately acquired by the chip manufacturer. After visiting the synthesizer company's office with a team from my client, I provided a detailed written report on software, music synthesis chip architecture, and various management questions. |
